Dear Fellow Rotarians,

As | write this last Presidential message for VIKAS, my heart is filled with immense happiness, gratitude and satisfaction. For me the year was not merely about completing projects or achieving numbers; it was about involvement, fellowship, innovation and meaningful service through all the avenues of Rotary. It was truly satisfying to see how beautifully our members responded with enthusiasm and commitment in every role they played.

| sincerely appreciate the efforts of the members of my Board of Directors, Chairpersons and Project Teams who worked tirelessly and effectively to ensure meaningful outcomes through their respective avenues. Their planning, execution and teamwork transformed ideas into impactful realities and gave tremendous momentum to the club throughout the year.

All our mega projects including Run2Care, Olympics, Balmela , Balkatta and so on, received excellent appreciation from all over. Almost all our community and school projects became mega events in terms of impact and participation. e.g. Run2Care (1500), Olympics (3000), Balimela (>1000) and Soif Day (700). Our Udayantu Teachers Team did a commendable job too, with 6 students from their batches securing the 8" standard scholarships. All these projects not only created social impact but also strengthened the identity of our club asa vibrant and progressive Rotary family.

Fellow Rotarians and teams, handling Vyavasthapan and Fellowship projects kept us well occupied throughout the year with engaging speakers and timely celebrations of different cultural festivals. The teams did commendable job in ensuring good attendance for all the meetings and fellowship programs. These occasions truly reflected the warmth, unity and joyful spirit of our club.

Our work on the CSR and Global Grant front was truly unparalleled. We successfully executed four new CSR projects amounting to nearly Rs. 90 lakhs, thereby crossing the remarkable milestone of Rs. 1 crore in CSR support during the TITEN year. In addition, our two Global Grants for Child Heart Surgeries and WASH projects amounted to nearly Rs. 1.25 crores, significantly enhancing our service outreach and creating sustainable impact. We also proudly contributed for the first time to an Interdistrict Global Grant with RC Wai by contributing USD 975, marking another important milestone in our club's journey. Similarly, five Thalassemia Awareness Camps and six Blood Donation Camps were successfully conducted, rendering tremendous support to our ETN initiative and centre. Our support for 5 cancer surgeries was also a new feat inthe medical help from our club

Initiatives such as Soil Day, Reading Clubs through Balkatta, the Sunday Library Initiative, DEI RYLA, Continual Plantation Drive and many more reflected our determination to think differently and serve meaningfully. Our Anns and Lady Rotarians' group through a series of Sakhi Samvad programs which strengthened fellowship and initiated some of the path-breaking community projects such as Recall Medicine Waste, Nikshaymitra and Tulshi Donation. Along with regular meetings and fellowship activities, they brought new energy and social commitmentinto our activities. Their contribution added warmth and inclusiveness to the entire Rotary year.

The Editorial Team of Bulletin VIKAS did an excellent job throughout the year by beautifully capturing all our activities while simultaneously presenting thought provoking articles, reflections and informative content.

| am deeply grateful to our Disha Group of Past Presidents, whose active involvement, timely guidance and continuous encouragement helped us immensely throughout the year. Their support in projects and strategic advice on several occasions added tremendous strength to the club. Many of them silently stood behind us with blessings, and tacit support in all good things we did.

The Leadership Conclave initiated this year to identify and decide the six future leaders of the club was an exemplary and visionary initiative. Guided and executed by PDG Dr. Ulhas Kolhatkar along with the team of Past Presidents, this process reflected transparency, leadership grooming and organizational maturity. | genuinely believe this is a remarkable FLP concept gifted by our club to large Rotary clubs everywhere, especially where many capable volunteers aspire to lead and serve.

There are countless moments, projects and memories that deserve mention. A special thanks is also due to many Rotarians who silently supported the club in non-project activities such as administration, documentation, coordination and follow-ups. Their behind-the-scenes contribution played a vital role in efficiently managing such a massive and dynamic club. Very often, these efforts remain unnoticed publicly, but they form the backbone of smooth and successful functioning.

Last but certainly not the least, | sincerely thank all our TRF donors, Trust donors, CSR donors and event sponsors. Without their generosity, trust and support, executing large-scale projects with efficiency and impact would have been extremely difficult. It also helped raise the funds absolutely necessary in the future upgradation and operations of the Children's park and Rotary Bhavan

Thanks are also due to our beloved District Governor Harsh Makol for his constant encouragement and strong support throughout the year for all our projects and grants. His presence was always motivating and inspiring. District team, including our AG Amit Shrivastav, DS Nikhil and GS Shrijit, were always approachable and available to resolve our queries and guide us whenever needed.

As this wonderful Rotary year concludes, | remain deeply elated, humbled and satisfied. Whatever we achieved was possible only because of teamwork, mutual respect, friendship and the true spirit of Rotary — Service Above Self and Unite for Good. Thank you all for making this TITEN Year truly memorable, meaningful and transformational. The memories created, friendships strengthened and lives touched during this journey will remain cherished forever.

As | write this final editorial of the Rotary year, | find myself reflecting on a journey filled with learning, creativity, and collaboration. Serving as the Editor of Vikas Magazine has been both a privilege and a rewarding experience. Every edition has been an opportunity to capture the spirit of RC Dombivli East and showcase the remarkable work of our members.

| extend my heartfelt gratitude to my editorial team, many of whom stepped into this role for the very first time and contributed with enthusiasm and dedication. My sincere thanks to Rtn. Nikhil Bhat, Rtn. Joseph Goshi, Rtn. Rithika Kunder, Rtn. Omraj Rajan, and Rtn. Vishal Saruk.
